In December, the CBC raised funds for the Food Bank at Sounds of the Season, a day of programming with special guest artist appearances, when donations were accepted and there was also a silent auction. I was one of the 'winners' in the auction in Toronto of a package that included dinner and a salsa lesson and dancing hosted by Mary Ito of Fresh Air and David Chilton of Dragon's Den.
